Finally starting to take shape again!

A few days ago, this was the state of my pedalboard...

Now it's looking like this...

I'm still waiting on my TC Trinity Reverb and Jack Deville Deuce Coupe. Only problem is...they won't all fit! I had (somehow) forgotten how good the AC-TONE Special sounded, and it's a perfect pairing with the Voyager! I'd have to take it or the Fhusk CS-3 off to make room for the Deuce Coupe??? Maybe i won't like the Deuce Coupe as much as i think and i'll just send it back!?

We'll find out probably this afternoon!

Nice.

Re: Finally starting to take shape again!

Looking good man!!! You'll have to make a demo video of your new board soon! :)

Re: Finally starting to take shape again!

Re: Finally starting to take shape again!

Looking at that board it's like you've never been out of the loop! Ha ha... get it? Lol.

Board looks great though, glad you're back in business... your new stuff rocks for sure!

Re: Finally starting to take shape again!

I think it's funny how you 'borrow against your pedalboard' anytime you need extra cash, just like the old blues guys did with their guitars at pawn shops.

It's better than cashing out of guitars or guns, or something that's more personal than pedals.

I'm sure it sucks when you're on vacation, and you see the price of one of your pedals going into the gas tank and fast food! Doh!

But all that means is New Gear Rocks. Shopping time - and you always bounce back with some cool ones!

Niiiiiice!

That all looks great, dude. Congrats on the new stuff and the rocking and whatnot. :beerchug:

So, how's that Trinity? As awesome as we expected?

Re: Finally starting to take shape again!

Just take the volume pedal off and you'll be all right. I'd keep it off to the side like I do my Wah.

I thought about that...but the convenience of just putting the board in its case and going is so nice. I'd have to put the volume pedal in something else. I suppose i could put it in my cable bag?

It's pretty decent...i'm not in love with it...but i'm going to give it a go. www.tryapedal.net didn't have the Deville Dark Echo in stock, or i would have gotten that. I haven't decided whether i'm going to keep it yet or not?

Definitely...my wife didn't want me to do it. I told her it would be worth it, and they could all be replaced. Also, i would have fun doing it! I was right!

I'm really, really digging the Voyager! It's unlike any OD pedal i've ever played. They say it's very "klonlike". I wouldn't know about that, but i love it's voice and dynamics for sure!

The Red Shift is the new Gain Stage Red. (which is my all time fave OD) It doesn't have the "soft" setting of the GSR, which is a deal breaker for me. But, it does have the Gain Stage Purple in it as well....that would be nice!

It's pretty sweet man! I Love the TC stuff anyways. I didn't realize how much i missed reverb until i turned it on for the first time!
