Finding your own sound

Re: Finding your own sound

Well I have finished my testing out my new Orange Crush 35RT. I must admit this amp rules! Many amps that I have tried in its class have cheaper plastic knobs and lots of plastic. The top plate on the orange that runs down to the back is metal. You experience higher quality plastic knobs and the clean to dirty switch is metal. The amp is very responsive with very little adjustment to the knobs. The amp has plenty of power, the tones don't break up at high volume. Clean sounds are crisp and clear , dirty is what you would expect . Great tones even at lower volume digital reverb sounds as good as a tube amp. I no longer think that tube amps are better than SS now that I have this Orange IMHO. I cant say enough good things about this amp, its everything I looked for and more. I found out I appreciate the built in tuner nice touch its handy for sure. Plug in my MP3 player very nice feature for me the sound comes through is music to my ears. It has a lot of gain and is easy to move around its light considering the quality of the build but is heavier than many in its class range. This amp is definitely worth trying out its a keeper for me Orange has definitely impressed me. Don't let the 10 inch speaker fool you , I would put it up against a 12 inch any day of the week .

Re: Finding your own sound

It seems lately that many players I speak to are getting their sounds from their pedals.
