Finished upgrading my Yamaha RGX420S

I didn't have much money for pickups, so I found a sale on some pickups from GuitarHeads and thought I'd try them. A friend of mine who's an amazing guitarist kept telling me that they are good pickups, but he's the kind of player that sounds great no matter what he plays. Anyways, I saw them on sale and thought the black covered Alnico Supreme pickups would be a good look for this guitar and I was right. While replacing the pickups I also replaced the 5-way switch with a good quality 3-way switch, replaced the cheaper volume pot with a good one (w/treble bleed kit) and replaced the bad "blow" switch with a Tesi micro kill switch. Overall I think it turned out pretty good and so far the pickups sound good. Are they as good as the JB (A2) and Jazz or 59 I'd like to have put in? Probably not, but so far for the price they have impressed me. Decent clarity and seem to be well made.

That's a nice looking guitar and the kill switch is a nifty little feature which I like.;)
