Finsihed another guitar

Apparently I can't use the internet right, because I deleted all my guitar pictures so my old project thread doesn't have any pictures in it anymore... duh. Well I finished off a couple more guitars in the last week, here's the latest:

It's a Squier SE (Starter pack) body, GFS brass tremolo, Mighty Mite neck, Hot-Rail style pups. I have a push-pull to add the neck pup, and tried another push-pull for series/parallel when all 3 are on. The series setting actually sounds really good, really drives my amp hard.
Originally it was gonna have THIS

plate but I couldn't get the wiring right with all those switches (and all the diagrams I found were for 1vol/2tones, adding that to my on/on/on switches instead of on/OFF/on like I was supposed to have... disaster) I already had the tortoise guard, so I just put all this together.

My other sunburst strat, either I have a dead pup or I jacked up that wiring too, but I have a set of Neodymium strat singles I'm gonna try in that one next. Cause why build a guitar just once, right?

What I've finished off most recently. I should drag everything out again to see what I have... and maybe not delete all my pix again.:blackeye:

Re: Finsihed another guitar

Very nice. A triple bucker sunburst strat. I like. I just got in a batch of wet/dry sandpaper from 2500 to 7000 grit to aid me in my ongoing work.

Still being worked on...

When I have time!

The Warmoth body needs pickup, control cavity, and bridge cut out...

Re: Finsihed another guitar

Squires are nice guitars to mod. How are those Mighty Mite bodys and necks they are available out here and I am seriously tempted.

How are those Mighty Mite bodys and necks

This is one of those MM necks that go for right around $100 on ebay, I also have a couple Squier necks. THis one has a slightly (1-2mm) wider nut, and a fuller back profile, which I like (I hate skinny necks) It fit perfectly in all the neck pockets of the Strat-types I have (GFS palouwina body, Squier body, and unknown copy body) so the size/shape is right on. The truss rod works fine, it's straight and hasn't moved (I got it in summer, lots of humidity then but 0% humidity in the winter) So overall I think it's a great value, considering you can get 2-3 MM necks for what one basic maple/maple Warmoth neck goes for. I did have to ream out the tuner holes to put different tuners in it, but that's pretty normal for most necks (since I never seem to have the right size on hand when I go to change them)

Re: Finsihed another guitar

Why would you have a unfinished warmoth body when you own a cnc machine?

Copy the profile to use with CNC programing, same as they did with the original Fenders.

BUT you would never understand, since your time is spent wasted making negative post on this forum.

Grow-up!

Yeah but i can do it the old fashion way with hard work and hand tools. I don't need a big machine to make a strat body.

I win! ahahah

Re: Finsihed another guitar

He didn't say he finished a guitar. He said he finsihed a guitar. There's a big difference!
