First attempt for synths...

I tried to put synths on that one. I think they do a nice blend with the guitars.
However there are some mixing techniques that can have better results (for ex by limiting the instruments to a narrower spectrum so they can be heard better and more defined.

Anyone knows how can I see the frequency spectrum of each track in the Cubase (some spectrum analyzer or something)?

Hi - I follow the subtractive eq method which seems to be the ticket imho. Here is a frequency chart of each instruments fundamental and harmonic frequency. In theory you can pu a high pass filter below the fundamental and not affect substantially the instruments tone - people also roll off above the fundamental too. With synths I like to put a hi-pass/lo-cut filter on at about 280hz and up to about 390hz - give it a try.

I loved it. I don't know if you intended it, but it sounds very late 70s and early 80s when those type of "watered down" or backing type synths were being used. To me the guitar has a classic sound with some modern bite to it. Great solo also.

Thanks a lot 75lespaul!
I was going for an 80's sound, a little atmospheric.
I forgot to lower the rhythm parts on the solo and they cover it a little...I'll do something about it though.
