First Female Friendly Guitar?

Re: First Female Friendly Guitar?

I really dig the guitar and watched many reviews on it. I really like the rosewood neck and all the angles on the body. It looks very comfortable to play. It also looks like a George Jetson guitar if you ask me.;)

The couple guys I've read, said they liked it. Haven't heard from a woman, but I havent been searching. Everybody likes it light.

“Annie never designed the guitar exclusively for females,” says Sterling Ball, the CEO and one of the lead designers at Ernie Ball Music Man (EBMM). “While it’s true that there has never been a major-market solid-body guitar in the history of it to be designed by a woman, none of us saw gender in creating this."

The Ibanez Iceman seems to want to be the female friendly choice

Just think about it

OK E, it would be much easier to feel than think about !! For me, anyway. Never know. It sounds like everybody loves them. If I ever get away, maybe I'll return with one, but I doubt it. I NEED a Pink Cadillac. Custom; love my guitar painter.

Sorry, but once again, how would you know???

:dunno:

I think the Albert Lee is a little more 'Jetsons' looking.

Just because it was designed by a woman doesn't mean the womans have to like it. Nor does it mean men can't like it.

Personally, I think all this emphasis on it being a woman designed guitar came from Vincent herself rather than Ernie Ball.
i still think it's worth noting that it's a good thing that women are designing guitars and it's getting attention in the guitarist community and I hope it's a sign of things to come. I'm curious to see what else comes of this.

Ah, yer a good man. I don't care what anybody says (!) You will find I try to mostly joke. Look at post #24 in this thread. I just added the little bit since it was very obvious the majority of pp did not watch the design vid. thx, Lone Star
Everybody get's a nickname, too. Some unpublishable. All of a sudden I can't spell. Oh, and everything is Jr's fault.
