First real amp.

Re: First real amp.

flookin Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!

is it one of the older ones without the onboard tuner?

mine doesnt have one, cuz its an older one
always thought that would be nice

Re: First real amp.

Yay! My father put the first payment on it to start the layaway.

How could I tell? I may be able to see it again before thursday.

But with that layaway, is 175$ not awful for one? He offered to hold it for awhile if we couldn't get a payment on it until Thursday, And I take lessons there, and they just seem really nice I felt I should get an amp from there.

Re: First real amp.

Alright. I may try out that Vyper on Thursday. Yeah, I looked them up and they were pretty well received. And for only 135$ It's probably not bad. Just thought I'd say this, I was just at a Pawn Shop/Music store but the only Bandit they had was 250$

Hold out and check other Pawn shops. Oh and remember, always dicker at a Pawn shop. Don't go too crazy, but you can usually get them to cut a bit off of list.

Re: First real amp.

Sorry for the above, hadn't followed the postings well enough, $175 for a cube 30 is a good deal. My Microcube sounds good at 2 watts, I can only imagine how much more punch 30 watts will give. Roland makes a good ss modeling amp. Enjoy! From what I recall, the stack setting is a Marshall and the rectifier setting is a Mesa.

Re: First real amp.

Yeah I've got a cube is just not loud enough really to gig with you'll have to put a mic on it

*(Sent from my durned phone!)*

Re: First real amp.

Well, if I gig it will be awhile, and it's loud enough to drive the house crazy! The owner of the shop turned it to about 90% on the volume with one of the distortions on and I just wanted to drop my guitar and run after I plucked the high E string.
