first recording setup

Re: first recording setup

a p-rails set in that would be killer:naughty:

Kinda what i was thinking. I still need to get electronics for it, Maybe 4 p/p pots for a stealth look and maximum options. I could get 4 sounds per pickup, am I right? series, parallel, p90, single right? That would be killer! How cool would that be with clared mahogony a b/w/b pickgaurd, and a cream p-rails set with cream knobs/ swichtip, and cream rythem/treble ring.
Maple neck and rosewood board. maybe even vintage tint on the neck. (strat style)

i see. well either way if i were you i'd pm hermetico for a diagram, he can draw up some killer diagrams, and is very helpful in deciding how to wire everything up.

Re: first recording setup

I see you got a Toneport. And a higher end one than mine! :)
I'm sure you'll have a LOT of fun with it. It's not perfect - something like this can't replicate a mic'ed cranked Marshall, but for the money it's awesome. You're gonna love it.
And like I say, you can put the ML bass through it, AND vocals. It has FX and stuff for guitar, bass and vocals. It's a great wee package.

Re: first recording setup

quick question; how do effects into the toneport sound? if i could i'd rather just run my own distortion into a clean setting.
