I have done a little mucking about with it, but haven't really tried to record anything until today when I recorded this 45-47 second clip.
Basic drum loop thatw as already on file, then wrote the bass line using an Indian Raga that I recently learned (been learning and playing with all sorts of stuff lately for fun) and built the guitar line off of that.
The solo is a little wonky in the middle, (sorry about that) but it was pretty much a plug and play 1 take shot.
I like Garage Band and am surprised at how much you can do with it, as I expected it to be a lot more stripped down.
Not quite as advanced as Roland's Cakewalk products, but for a free bit that comes with your computer it's pretty solid.
