I've got a Nashville Tele that squeals like a piggey with higher gain settings, so I'm looking to rectify this, but also I'd like to try out AlNiCo magnets for a bit more sustain.
yes both those are potted. tele bridge pups are very succeptable to feedback cause of the base plate. a wax bath would probably solve your problems but if you want to try another pup now seems to be a good time
