Whee! Nice one. Dual PAF Pro and Jem single, right? Versatility central.

Whilst not my cup of tea it does look pretty darn cool, my nephew however would absolutely LOVE it!

That's GORGEOUS!

Niels man, I wish I were closer to you. You'd love all my very modern, totally non-vintagey guitars these days ;) Fanned frets, stainless steel frets... I should try wiring a true bypass pickup too :D

Very nice. Some of the higher end Ibanez guitars use some pretty damn good wood it sounds like. I've heard Paul Gilbert rave about the quality of several he owned (been a few years) and of course Steve Vai has his favorites Flo and Jem. It's great to play a guitar that feels alive and resonant. Nice of you to do all that work for your buddy. At about $65/bench hour, you saved him $300-$400 bucks I bet.

Really liked those, certainly a lot more than the later ones

Got two other Ibies from the 90/91, and a 85 RS135.
They need little looking after as it is....
My 540R HH is acually the guitar I have had the longest time now...haha
The 430SII I have I'll get another neck for, that wizard neck is just alittle too flat for me ;)

We help each other all the time, and I keep my setup/repair chops up, this winter/spring is slow for business right now.
