Hi,
new to the forum.
My pickguard is currently loaded with SSL5 (neck), SSL1 (mid) and hot rail (bridge). The guitar is a bit noisy so I am going to remove it and doing some shielding and new solders.
Since the room below the pickguard is very tiny and there is a mess of cables, I wanted to know if turning the hot rails 180°, i.e. with the cable facing the mid pick up and not the bridge, may effect the sound.
This change would help me a little having a single bundle of cables straight to fit the channel running across the the pick-ups compartment.
Hope it's clear.
Thanks for any comment.
