Flying V's bodies brighter? then a X2n will do good?

Hi.

How different are the bodies of a Flying V in terms of resonance and stuff? Ive read they are very bright compared to a normal strat or something like that. Iv never played one before, of any kind, but the one i have in mind of getting is a ESP V350 (mahogany body, set maple neck, rosewood fretboard)...

can anyone confirm this?

Also, Im a dave mustaine fan, megadeth and all that, so Ive got a LTD EX with the JB/Jazz combo, and ive experienced the high "highness" of the JB, and find myself lowering the highs in my EQs a little bit. Considering the EX has quite a large body made of basswood with a rosewood fingerboard, how much of a problem would be a JB in a flying V? (ESP LTD V.350). I know Mustaine has recorded all his stuff with the JB and I can get his sound right now doing a hell-of-a-EQing, but:

Ive been listening to a lot of petrucci lately and got interested in Dimarzios. Ive read the X2N has a lot of bass, so I wonder if it will be any good on a brighty Flying v? I want to keep playing megadeth and thrash stuff, but also with the press of a button to change amp channels, be able to play some petrucci's leads and cleans.

Can you help me out¿?

thanks a lot!
