Folksy Track (Needs a guitar solo)

Re: Folksy Track (Needs a guitar solo)

i'm assuming it's an 'outro' solo that starts about when those bell-like sounds start up again and runs to the end ....

that's got the making of a nice little ditty ... i sure would like to know the melody ... a good solo retells and expands the theme of the song's melody ... i'd be happy to give it a shot ... will you be posting it when "everything but the solo" are done?

That's groovy man. I can't wait to hear it with the vocals.

Re: Folksy Track (Needs a guitar solo)

I was going to throw in a solo to start the song..... maybe, if that is cool.

I don't know how good this is... I just jammed it a couple times and took the best parts of each one to make a complete intro.

This is only an intro solo. Nice work by the way! This is a cool song. I'd like to hear the version w/vocals.

Ok...I had about half an hour today, so I listened to the track a few times and had a go at the intro and what I percieved to be an outro solo.

You might even like it, even if it was virtualy a first take on both solos.

Let me know!

P.S. May I add that you are a very talented dude, Mr. Mark Vida. :)

haha, it's the vibraphones! They make me picture little elves working chopping down trees or something. Either way it's not a bad picture!

it is a cool track. i really like the arrangement and acoustic rhythm track. The vocals are sweet, too.
