hmmmm.....

apply internet "not sure if serious?" meme to this post.

Re: For all you Jimmy Page fans, here's a GAS inducer!

I think the whole point of the guitar is to allow fans to pay tribute to Page while also being able to play the guitar without guilt. I think it's awesome for the price.

I'd agree if the seller didn't admit to 'polishing' a Chibson in the listing. I suppose we should be thankful for the disclosure instead of trying to pass it off as the real deal.

That looks like complete ****.

The only JP guitar that would induce GAS in me would be a signature model of his B Bender Lester.

I didn't even see it was a Chibson. I didn't read the description. I thought it was an Epiphone. I remove my approval from this guitar as I never support the resale of a counterfeit.

Re: For all you Jimmy Page fans, here's a GAS inducer!

Shouldn't the ad read "manufacturer UNfurbished"?

"I've took a Heritage Sunburst Chinese Les Paul with a Mahogany body and Maple top and transformed it into an outstanding profesional guitar.

Firstly I've aged all the hardware, then . . .
Dulled the body work down and then attacked the electrics..

The guitars neck has been stoned, fret dressed and then the frets polished."

Oh the humanity.

OK, Ill admit my post was somewhat cheeky because I did actually spit my coffee all over my iPad when I read the description and the GAS was when I nearly sh!t myself laughing. The part about the frets being stoned.... well I think the luthier who unfurbished it was stoned and then he "attacked" the electrics.... ha ha ha ha. I couldn't help myself. The fact that he states that it's ideal for anyone who's in a Zep tribute band just cracked me up! I've got no problem with people selling guitars that have been repaired or modified, but when they are butchered, mutilated and attacked..... well we need to call the R.S.P.C.G (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Guitars).

That's a tribute to the guitar Pagey played on the '74 tour when he wore his infamous "Suit of Scotch-Brite".

That thing is gawd awful. Personally think that even mistaking that thing for an Epi is an insult to Epi's. The "relic" work on the body/finish is about as unrealistic a hack job as it can be. I hope he doesn't buy, "relic" and sell chibsons for a living. I'm more inclined to think he was polishing his own personal turd and finally realized it was a turd. So, he lists it on ebay with a PT Barnum sales pitch. Then again, I didn't check his other listings or feedback.

Was I too harsh? Sorry.
