...which pedal(s), are the best tonedogs? Oh yea, I'm really only interested in ones that are readily available today, as opposed to vintage hard to find ones.

SEarch the Amplifier Forum section here, there are endless threads about this topic, or buy a low wattage tube amp you can crank.
