Here you go Hoss, here are some pics of what may be the most beat up looking Blues Jr. around. The only bad thing about the amp was the tolex didn't last long. This poor old amp has rode in our band van for 10 years or better and has done countless gigs and has never failed me.

The back panel looks brand new....wanted to show a pic of the guts. the Bill M mod works great...if youlook close in the pic you can see its a 1995 revision B green board.

That Blues Jr sure has the look of a well travelled blues amp. You have redefined the definition for relic'd amps. Very cool amp. Thanks for the pics.

I'm surprised that particle board hasn't shredded on all the corners.

I know it defeats the vibe of the amp, but have you thought of retolexing it with a unique color, and grillcloth. I'd redo it with brown embossed leather and cane grill. Make a weekend project out of it.

I don't let it get wet. I know it would look good recovered like you said..I thought about green and cane myself. The money would serve me better going towards a Celtic.

I think it is lack of styling........How about unbathed blonde or funky blonde? I think B Bent had a Dirty Blonde and it didn't look like my Blues Jr.

I'm thinking either Aislinn or a Franklin. I was gonna go with a Diedre, but I'm using my 30 watter less and less all the time. 15 watts seems to be plenty...if I need more, I could always run my Fender with it.
