I love the guitar but I think I'm more of a Les Paul and Strat guy. It's in good shape with just some mild playing wear ( few light pick marks but thats it ) . Make me some offers. Was thinking around 1500

i'm about to do the same with mine of the same vintage.. it's killer axe and fulfilled my sg fantasies but i'm more comfortable with guitars with a bit more heft... the '61 reissues are gorgeous, easy to play and do their namesakes justice!

I agree. It is a great guitar without a doubt. But I'm hoping to sell it and buy a new American Deluxe Strat.

i have an american deluxe tele that i bought in '01 and though it has been upgraded with sperzels, phat cat neck, lil '59 bridge, graph tec saddles & new pots & cap.. the fit & finish of the guitar itself is awesome. it plays like butter, has the balls of an ox and i return to it over and over.

i hope you find the axe you're looking for!
