Do you remember what that color stain is? I was curious on the Carvin vintage yellow and wonder if that what it ages to. Maybe it's just Alder with clear that has yellowed?

1992 is the only year with the straight headstock and large logo so the body wings should be Poplar or Maple as Alder was not available until late 93 and that is indeed the Vintage Yellow.
I for many years was an avid Carvin player and collector and have owned dozens of those late 80's- mid 90's Shread era Carvin guitars.

Sweet collection Ascension! If your DC125 had a Floyd I'd be tempted. Consider it a bump for both your Carvins, great guitars!
