For Sale: Fender Deluxe Roadhouse Strat - Like New

I have a Fender Deluxe Roadhouse Stratocaster for sale. Candy apple red with no blemishes. I have removed the S1 switch/pot and preamp pot. I have wired it like a Telecaster so you have the standard 5-way pickup switching; but a master volume and tone. This way, the bridge pickup has a tone control as well. I have changed the bridge pickup out for a Seymour Duncan Twang Banger. It's a very warm and punchy pickup that almost gets you the tone of a Tele bridge pickup. I still have the original bridge pickup if you would like that instead. I was going to install a 25db midboost post because it has a battery compartment and is already wired. I never got around to it. I also bought an aged white pickguard in an HSS config. It has an aged white Fender humbucker that is basically their version of a Duncan JB. It's a very nice humbucker. I would include the humbucker and pickguard in the sale.

Let me explain why I'm selling. This guitar is a great guitar and I really like it. It sounds great, plays great, and feels very comfortable. I would like to buy another Tele. I'm just not really a Strat guy; but this one is a gem (IMHO). I need to sell a couple of guitars to finance the Tele I want. That is all.

Hey Elliss. There might be a little misunderstanding here. Butch was the seller. I was the buyer. So yes, I still have it, and I plan to keep it. I friggin' love this thang.

Sorry if there was some confusion here. But there are more of these out there somewhere.

I loved the Twang Banger in it and full size Humbucker was very nice too.

Me too. And that creates the conundrum. I bought the Livewire Classic II calibrated set specifically for this axe, because it has the factory battery box. But the dang thing sounds so good, I'm not sure I want to mess with it. :sad:
