For thickness - semi open or closed?

What do you guys think will provide thicker lead tone, semi open back 212 or closed back 212? I am wondering whether or not to close off the back of my Stone Age 212. It has Celestion G12K-100s.

You will get more low end out of a closed back cab. You will probably hear that as 'thickness'

Thanks again Archer! You know, I like variety and the G12K-100s sound magnificent in my Stone Age 212, very versatile, big and clean! Since these speakers have a lot of natural lows and sound so big, I think having a 4" slot opening in the back works fine. That is my Stone Age 212.

My Bogner 212 has V30s and I keep that closed.

I also have a Splawn 412 and plan to buy another THD 212 woon so I should have enough to provide a lot of variety in speakers and cabs.
