John,
thanks, but honestly, all the credit goes to you! :)
enjoy ... the true test will be one of your gigs

I would be curious to hear how the Ants and Surfers would sound if they were switched between the blue and red strats you have, since I always associate maple necks with 50's type strats - plus I think the Texas Hots seem like a better fit with a maple neck ....
of course, I don't practice what I preach, since I've got just rosewood necks  :smack:
still, I think it might help with some of the brightness issue, but I honestly don't expect you'll be experimenting with your red strat :D

enjoy, brother!

Peace

Curly....I Love the red strat and so I'm probably better off leaving well enough alone there..The red strat lacks the blender pot mod though..The blender pot mod is very cool but not cool enough to make me want to change the red strat over to it...I should consider myself lucky that all of my strats have their own character...I have almost an equal amount of maple vs rosewood strats...Can't forget about my 62 reissue sunburst strat with it's rosewood neck also..Curly...Thanks for always being around to chime in on my posts...

I tryed listening to your Texas Hot clips, but I was only able to listen to the clean clip...The other clips sent me to a white page...I felt like I might have been in the wrong place maybe on your website to listen to your new clips..Maybe you could send me a direct clip to just the Texas Hot samples?

John
