Very sweet ! Love the shade of blue. Can't look at it too long 'cause it's still disconcerting to see everything "backwards" but what ya gonna do?
Want to thank you also -with the tone jump and the step-by-step on setting up you made available, my AMS is now a dream to play.

Yes..I cursed myself at a very early age by allowing myself yo continue to play lefty! :smack: You know what though? I own like 9 great guitars...Gibsons and Fenders,so I'm good...Glad the info you speak about helped...Have a great 4th buddy..

Just fired up the slideshow...looks great man!
What is the hybrid made of???
Looks great with white coils.

Hello RID...That hybrid is a combination of a PGB screw bobbin mated to a custom slug coil...Measures about 11k..The bobbins were black, but I very carefully spray painted them after covering up the pole pieces...It was a very trying thing to do,but it worked out nicely...Thanks for looking and the compliments on it buddy...

Doesn't look like veneer to me either, you can see the end grain really well. I dunno..

What kind of paint did you use on that pup? Did you scuff it up first?

Re: Pictures Of My Finished "Blue" Stratocaster

Did all that John. I Printed the tutorial on set-ups and follwed the step. My Strat stays in tune now even after 2 step bends and the odd dive here and there. You directed me to the link awhile back.

Again, thanks for putting the info out there. Bill

Just joking about the lefty axe, man. Some of the greats were/are lefties. There is also evidence that lefties are more creative due to the dominant right brain. That area of my mind has a Space For Rent sign on it. It's in a bad neighborhood though so it's still vacant. You have a stellar 4th your own self. Bill

Hello buddy..
Yes some light scuffing with very fine sand paper(Like 400 grit or so)...I walked into Walmart with an off white cover and got something that would get me close..The color actually matched pretty close..It took several light coats to get the tops to satisfy me though..So far the paint has stayed on also..It was a cheap try at the time to keep from buying 2 parchment pickups to make 1 hybrid..
