For those who love controlled harmonic feedback....which pickup?

Personally, with me it's all about the Super Distortion....the feedback is quick to come on yet still manages to blossom, and I don't think it's ever turned microphonic on me.

Some pickups on the other hand (cough * EMGS * cough) I have to fight with to get decent feedback out of, and it's very difficult to control/sustain it once I get it going.

Just wondering what others have for preference....

ive had good luck with the duncan distortion and the custom. not so much with the invader. i just saw a buddy of mines band play and he was getting great feedback with his dimebucker and jcm 800.

i also have been getting great results with my 11.2k broadcaster pup not quite the same but the feedback is very controlable and rolls beautifully

although the DD is great, the Dimarzio Evolution and the Gibson 500t are the best ones i've used so far for controlled feedbacks.

BEst guitar I've had for that was the McCarty..damn the controlled fb on that was nice...

Custom in a Les Paul is very nice as well.

Any kind of mid boost/preamp works great too...Eric Clapton Strat, Deluxe powerhouse strat, BC Rich etc....
