For Those Who Love The Schecter C1-Classics

Re: For Those Who Love The Schecter C1-Classics

looks nice, but the classic has duncans and a tone pros bridge over it so i guess that justifies the 200 dollars :)

It's a nice looking axe, but if I remember correctly. When I played one it just didnt feel right. Cool none the less. :) I love the top on that one.

Very cool but the headstock is horrible IMO. If it matched in color...that's another story!

From Dean....looks pretty intersting and about $200 cheaper as well.

I bought my C-1 Classic slightly used from an ad in an online music classified website for $400 with h.c. and shipped. So there are deals out there to be had. I think I found the site by doing a simple search with Google using the guitar model as part of my search.
Both the Classic and the Dean are beauty guitars, and my Classic plays and sounds like a dream, as I'll bet the Dean does....but there's still something about opening the case to this Schecter and seeing that neck inlay right off the bat....it's almost a little too much for me (bet you were thinking I was gonna say I love it, didn't you?....but in fact it's the only thing that turns me off about the guitar, LOL). And if it wasn't for the action and sound of the guitar I wouldn't have ever considered the guitar in the first place.
I got the same feeling when I checked out the guitar from Jeff's post. That kind of "extra frilly stuff" is real purty to look at, but IMO it's just a tad overkill to be a real player's guitar (does that make any sense?).
I'll hang onto mine, tho. Can't beat the value.
