For those whose whammy bar doesn't fit

OKay... some of us have the problem where the whammy bar is just a tad loose and it can jiggle around, and if you pull it up a little and move it, it will screech. I use this to my advantage, and i do this and then immediately push down to create a dropping bomb effect.

Out of the lowest expectations can come the greatest things...

I wonder if you took some soft surgical tubing and stretched it over the threaded end so the bottom of the tubing hits the base of the tremolo if it wouldn't provide enough downward pressure hold the arm in place? Like a lock washer.

Yes the springs need a touch of WD40 and the loose arm can be remidied by wrapping Teflon tape around it before you screw it in.
