That looks alot like John Cippolina's custom built (non-Gibson) SG. (he built his guitar). I'm a HUGE Cippolina fan ... I just bought one of their albums (Quicksilver Messenger Service, 'Happy Trails') a few months ago, and I really loved it, so the other day I bought their first album ... it's even better than 'Happy Trails.' In my opinion, John was the best (1st or 2nd) guitarist (psychedelic Rock) from the West coast during the late '60's.


Mario Cippolina, bassist with Huey Lews and The News was his brother.
