Same here, I would say that this looks like the guy who told the guy next to him to relax was himself on the touchy side but that might just be me.

Funny thing is, every time there's a mini-crisis like this it typically ends with another forum bro saying that he quits. Well, not so funny after all...

Love the concept of an enhanced harmonic unbalanced coil bucker for the neck.
Here is a little thought on my part.
How about a full set match set starting with a hotter version of the current 59 /custom bridge that would say be some thing like a JB/Custom hybrid then matching a neck pickup with that bridge as a set for the forum only.
Will likely grab a forum only match for the 59/custom hybrid if it comes but creating a full on unique forum set would be REALLY cool here!

It's way too late for something like that. Such decisions were made months ago. The selection has been made, and the bridge model will NOT be beefier than the production '59/C Hybrid. It will be exactly the opposite, in fact, with more cut. That has been decided on for over a month now, maybe two. The brighter/scrappier bridge specifically is what one of the finalists in the OP in this thread was [now the winner]. The same brighter/scrappier pickup specifically was also a finalist in the previous vote, which ended in a tie. Brighter/scrappier bridge is what was selected, what went up for vote, and what won. You can't just change into something else after the fact.

And if you had followed this process in the slightest, or even just read the OP in this very thread, you'd know that it will indeed be a neck/bridge unique forum set.

I know Edgecrusher is getting bagged on for saying to tone it down, but how about if I do it?

Let's not let this thread get out of hand or I'll just close it and we'll move onto the next vote.

DarkMatter, do we want to close this one up and move onto the next vote about how we want to go about a neck humbucker to match the '59/C Hybrid, since that clearly won this one?

I don't think anyone wants more discussion on it, and I agree. I don't believe it needs anything else from us. I'm all in favor of providing the Custom Shop with a simple description and letting them handle the details.

Well, I'm going to lock this one up.

I suggest starting Vote #7 just to narrow down if we want the starting point to be the '59 neck (so it is a true hybrid child of the original bridge) or if we want it to be completely unique but built as a companion to the '59/Custom bridge. I'd say leave it as that as a simple idea. The more options there are the more confusing it will be.
