Forum Jam!

Re: Forum Jam!

Verry nice, Sly. I like the descending quadruplets! I don't think anyone is going to do what I plan on doing on the track, so I'm gonna spoil myself and listen to everyone else's! lol :D

Re: Forum Jam!

Thanks TO... and go ahead spoil yourself... noone CAN do what you'll do with it anyway :D We're lucky to have you here actually. I've learn more in 6 months with the great players here than alone in the last 2 years.

This is actually becoming a great global guitar clinic :)

Re: Forum Jam!

What I do is this :

Click on the MP3 link, let Windows Media Player open, right-click on the name of the track in the track list, choose properties and THEN copy the link there.

Try that, it works :)

Damn, nice Ritenour-esque sound going on, Lee. Was this done w/a neck position HB?

It was a mid position H/B. Thanks for the complement.

Re: Forum Jam!

It's my age, Sly. Love yours too - you have a foot in both camps (age too I suppose).

If people took time to listen to the stuff I like to play, then maybe they'd understand that I'm not being argumentative when I say that metal isn't really my thing.

Yeah, I guess I'm halfway in the vintage rock (which often includes a love for blues) and modern era... although I can't claim any modern influence in my play. I'm simply gaining speed with practice.

Re: Forum Jam!

Guys, like Lee I don't want to listen to your takes until I record something. Hopefully I will do something tomorrow, post, and then give the others a listen.

Great nuntius... very dynamic. Good job! It's ovious you were more inspîred than I was. I struggled a bit with this clip in terms of creativity.
