Strat (neck phat cat) -> Ehx Ring Thing -> GarageTone Distortion -> Ehx Freeze -> Stereo memory man w/ hazarai -> Hiwatt MIC Tube thingy -> Ampeg 2x10 bass cab from micro stack

I agree its a beautiful and nuanced tone. better clean than I've ever achieved for sure. Strong and pristine while still full-on warm territory. That flubby breakup towards the end is very charmingly dissonant.

now that you've stumbled upon it you can enjoy all the songs it inspires you to make. good feeling, that. I've gone in the other direction and rediscovered my Big Muff

hah, thanks man! Didn't cost too much money either...I'm really starting to dig that little hiwatt 2xel84 MIC amp i bought a while back...put a bigger cab on it and it really has a range or tones.

I have been trying forever to get that plunk.

I installed a bass cut switch and fingerpick...Thats the only thing I can think of...the amp gets the signal with the basscut already happened...maybe its the amp too. dunno
