I'm happy owner of two Framus. The "two bolt" actually has 4 bolts ;-)
2 are on the back like you know it from any other bolt-on neck and 2 were screwed from the front (under the pickguard). Framus sells this attachment with the argument that they get a larger distance between the bolts causing higher stability.
Framus nowadays builds really highest quality guitars. Great sound, best hardware and optically quite different from what you know from the big companies.
Mine are a 1994 Renegade Pro with S-S-S/H (SSL1 in neck and middle, SSL3 Hot and a HotRails in neck) - most versatile axe I ever palyed - and the best neck.
The other is as an old archtop from late 50 early 60 with a metal pickguard and builtin Schaller pickups (SSS)
I would hardly recommend trying out these babes - I love them all
