Re: Framus Hollywood single cut . . . anyone got one ?

Does anyone even know this model ?

(see ProGuitarShop for a great demo)

I can get one for a "good" price, brand new. In black.

Has anyone ever played with one of these ?

They come in single cut and double cut.
Any info would be great !
Thanx to all

Here's what's left of mine. The Body.Original 60's Hollywood body, the neck was removed way back [ by some one else ] It had a different neck and pickups for many years, two single coils. then it got humbuckers and in more recent years a new neck. The body is very light because it is vastly hollow. This gives it a far more semi acoustic resonance/tone which is one reason why I like it. It's acoustically quite loud unplugged.

Your looking at a reissue which I'm presuming would be made better than the originals. Their quality control was inconsistent. Some had good necks, others were bad. The original pickups had a distinct sound and from memory a bit weak in output but who knows with the current version. The original scratch plates were made of a light weight metal but once again whether the reissues do , no idea. It doesn't state anything at the link. Framus/Warwick make good guitars these days and my guess is it should be a quality instrument. At a " good price " I'd go for it. I'd get one if I could afford it.
