'Framus Seymour Duncan' JB Jr.? U.S. pickup or Duncan Designed?

Hello,

I just got my hands on a single coil sized humbucker.
It has twelve small pole screws, two blades and bar magnet on the back.
The sticker on the back says "1BC" or "IBC", the cover is printed with 'Framus Seymour Duncan'.
So it looks like an old style JB Jr.

The seller said that it's a JB Jr. Duncan Designed from the Warwick/Framus factory in Germany.

I have seen both prints on pickup covers: 'Framus Duncan Designed' and 'Framus Seymour Duncan'.
Is there a way to be sure about what's what without relying on the print or sticker?

Elsewhere I've read that ALL Framus Duncans are U.S. pickups. Hard to believe, why are there two different printings then?

I am thankful for any information on the Framus Duncans :8:

Pull the pickup and see what the number is on the back. SD does make a JB jr but it could be possible that SD designed one just for Framus/Warwick.

Thanks for the reply!

The only thing on the back is the sticker saying "1BC" or "IBC"
Standard Duncan wire colors, around 15,6k in series

I see you posted the sticker part, missed it. Wondering if, as I said above, designed specifically for Framus based on the standard JBjr which is 15.2 k

"1BC", with twelve screws, should be a USA JB Jr, wound by Catalina Padilla.

I have a couple of her pups. She's good. :)

Thanks for the replies! :headbang:

So if the sticker isn't lying mine should be a regular USA JB Jr.
