Free Stuff from gearpage!

Just saw this on the gear page, so I'm gonna try it

On a tip from a buddy of mine I found this "hidden" page on Hamer's website. I didn't believe that it would work, but I just got my free DVD in the mail so I'm posting it here!

I guess it was a promotional giveaway that was never disabled, so until the webmaster (or somebody at Hamer) figures this out... GO FOR IT!

FREE DVD

Re: Free Stuff from gearpage!

I went and saw 'em when Jol and one of his guys came to our local Hamer dealer. We all left with the video. It's pretty interesting, and it makes you appreciate some of the time and care that go into making their guitars. If you can get one, go for it.

Needless to say, only available to americans...

Re: Free Stuff from gearpage!

I filled it in right as I posted up above and got my DVD today so that was pretty quick, lol.

Re: Free Stuff from gearpage!

I just got mine today, also. Very quick. I've wanted this DVD since I got my Hamer so thanks for the heads up!

Re: Free Stuff from gearpage!

The building process part was pretty cool and makes their shop look like a freaking dungeon, the darkest place on earth. Think like polar opposite of the fender mexico plant :laugh2:

Re: Free Stuff from gearpage!

I'm gonna wait until tonight and turn the lights down low, light a couple of candles, open a bottle of wine and sit my Hamer down close to me and watch it................maybe I'll get lucky.

Re: Free Stuff from gearpage!

Ordered mine, but the Gear Page can stick it!

Re: Free Stuff from gearpage!

People outside of the US are excluded... but I filled it in anyway, with some minor 'improvisation'. I wonder if it 'll work. Probably not ;)

Re: Free Stuff from gearpage!

It's a surprisingly interesting video. I thought it might be a little boring but it really makes you appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into these guitars. BTW that guy that was playing when it started had some great tone, didn't he?

And what kind of guitar was he playing? I rest my case, Your Honor.

(It has to be a new one, though. The used ones sound like hammered (NPI) dog doo. Every last one of 'em. They also have Hameritis, a condition that causes severe atrophy of the male appendage, chronic halitosis, and pattern baldness or an acceleration of the already-in-progress process. The new ones, on the other hand, leave you with a whiter, brighter smile, renewed vigor and energy, and the sudden ability to play comfortably at 1200 BPM. I'm thinking that you probably want a new one instead of a used one.)

I'm tellin' ya, watching them put the binding on and the ivoroid (is that how you say it?) inlays really had me wanting to move up the Hamer food chain to the top of the line stuff (panting like a dog).

Re: Free Stuff from gearpage!

The guys in the vid pronounce it "Hay-Mer" and I've always thought it was like hammer, oh well haha.
