Fretless/Microtonal necks

I want a guitar that can play "the notes between the notes".
Does anybody here know a good place I can buy a fretless or microtonal neck?

You can pull the frets from any of them

Carvin/Keisel will make you a fretless
Warmoth can make a fretless neck for your favorite guitar

I've never really delved into fretless guitars (nor basses for that matter).

How does they play? Without frets, wouldn't guitars just "plunk", and do other muted noises...

You really just have to try one to get it (easier to find a bass). Also, you use flatwounds with fretless.

It's super neat TBH, but can be hard intonation wise, it's a trip
