Friedman Dirty Shirley pedal

Ive read reviews of the BEOD and most are good. And now lots of guys praising the Dirty Shirley amp.. How is the Dirty Shirley pedal???

I was fortunate enough to be granted the chance to test both of these pedals before shipping on 9.26.2017. They're good. REAL good.

The Dirty Shirley pedal really does cop the tone, feel, and vibe of the amp in a very small, powerful package. If you've not played a Dirty Shirley before, think of this pedal as kind of like a slightly more refined OCD with EQ controls. It's a hell of a lot of fun to play and does great with picking/volume dynamics. The mini-switch for the Tight option does some cool stuff too.

The Buxom Betty pedal is interesting too in it's own way. It's very clean and Fendery, and you can leave the EQ stack out of the sound if you wish by way of a small switch. Up at higher drive levels there is a bit of a mid-boost happening that very much reminds me of an old Fender amp up loud or perhaps a JTM45. Into a slightly dirty Marshall, the "woman tones" were happening up at the upper range of the drive end. It's as good as the Dirty Shirley pedal in terms of dynamics and volume as well, and it does accentuate those little differences between players and guitars quite well.

Yeah I have on quite a few occasions. You can probably find my posts on it using the search engine. Long story short, I love, love, love that amp. I'll own one, one day!

Id love to try one, but sure ld prefer the BE... At least with the pedals we can get almost there without breaking the bank..

Yep, definitely me for one.

The D.S. pedal definitely ballparks the vibe of the amp in a package that costs way less than the amp does.
