Friend is letting me borrow his Gibson Les Paul

So I was telling my buddy about my "i'm so f#cked" story about how I keep having guitars destroyed by UPS and FEDEX and right now I have no electric guitar and I have a jazz recital and some shows coming up. So he's like, you can borrow my Les Paul for as long as you need it. I didn't even ask. Cool eh? I'm flattered my friends trust me that much. So anyway I get to use a Gibson Les Paul Gothic for about a week and a half or so and I'll get to see if I could dig using one of these again. I had an early 90's Les Paul studio that I wasn't too impressed with last year. I'm not a big fan of the finish but beggars can't be choosers.

i personally love satin finishes, and dig the old goth gibsons. thats a hell of a friend too, i sure as hell would let somebody borrow an LP

that's a good friend in my book!!! hell i won't let anyone borrow my stuff, not even my mom is she knew how to play :laugh2: Sure "you" can play my guitars with me there but not without proper adult (me) supervision hehehe

BE VERY CAREFUL!!!! A good way to loose a good friend is to damage his guitar or worse yet, have it stolen whil under your care!

Oh I'd pay for it if that would happen. But it won't. I think part of the reason is he sees how good I take care of my **** and how no one else would touch it.
