"From Dusk Till Dawn" guitar tone

Anyone here see the movie "From Dusk till Dawn." The band playing in the Titty Twister bar was Tito and the Tarantulas. The song they play when Salma Hayek does that erotic dance has the most awesome electric tone. What effect is the lead guitarest using? Is it a Rotovibe? a Flanger? I must have it.

Ah YES !! the song is called `After Dark' By Tito and the Tarantulas. And that
is a Super cool tone he's getting! I don't know the guys name who played
on that track? My guess? He's useing a Strat w/t some kind of tremelo FX.
A very haunting tone sounds like he's getting feedback and controling it to
the pitch he's playing? That's a Awesome soundtrack!! Starting off with the
Blaster's `Dark Night' SRV & Jimmie, ZZtop,The Mavaricks etc.

I always wondered if they were they same band (the Plugz). The Repo Man soundtrack was big in my circle, used to listen to it all the time. I never really heard much else though.

It could be?? Tito Larriva is well known in Hollywood. I've seen his name pop
up in movie credits,And he's had some small parts in a few movies. He did
have a small hit in the 80's with a song called`Tonight we sleep in a bed of
lies'
