No price drops from what I have listed.

It'll be here for the week, Ebay next week.

Re: FS: '04 SG Standard

Yeah, happens to me all the time too...hate it when that happens!!

It's a shame, shipping would be cheap for you!

Re: FS: '04 SG Standard

That's a nice git-fiddle. Black too. Too bad I'm broke.

I bought a guitar from big_black before. Great job shipping and packing. Highly recommended. I was a bit impatient though!

Re: FS: '04 SG Standard

ohhh, if only this one sold a couple of months later... Black SG's are sexy guitars.
How's the neck on this one?

Nice comfortable "C" shape all the way down. I think the modern Standard necks are pretty consistent in shape.

The binding is cut well, and it does not have those fretboard gouges like we see sometimes. An example of when Gibson gets it right!

I don't think anyone would have expected a Parcel Post shipment to actually take the full 9 days to go from Chicago to Rochester! You have every right in my book!

Re: FS: '04 SG Standard

how is the wood?

And you have the original Klusons as well?

EDIT: Stock pots and wiring?

Also, is that the 498/490 in it? your sig says DD/PG

It sounds great / very resonant- acoustically and plugged in.

I don't have the 489T, sold that off. I do have the original 490R and all the stock Klusons. I just put those Grovers on a month ago, so I haven't lost them yet. All other wiring is stock.

K..so the $750 is with the DD/PG? (installed)..or am I just dense today? :chairfall (moreso than usual)

That is correct. I wanted to hold on to those pickups, but I may be swayed...

$850 with a set of double black Duncans.

I'm just dense (or the pre-edited ad had me confused)I read it as the guitar with whatever was in it (pup-wise), and the JB/59 were on the side as extras for $850, and without the JB/59 on the side the price was $750.
