FS: 1996 G&L L-2000 fretless in outstanding condition, w/ HSC, free U.S.A. shipping
1996 G&L L-2000 fretless with hardshell case. Clear finish over ash, with un-dyed ebony fretboard.
I am the second owner. I bought it basically unused in 1997. Although I played it at least five times a week for several years, I was always extremely careful with it, and always played it sitting and without a pick. I babied it, and kept it in near-spotless condition, with maybe just a nick or three to be found on the body (if that), and only a few blemishes on the back of the neck. I did have to replace the jack once, but I used a part straight from G&L. The case has a broken latch (the middle one), and I don't know for sure if it is the original G&L case.
While this bass is very sentimental to me, it has sat unused for at least eight years, and hasn't seen heavy use in over a decade. I also dislike playing fretless now.
I am asking $800 shipped (U.S.A. only). I will ship internationally if you pay for the shipping and any associated fees...but it will be quite expensive.
I can take better pix if anyone is seriously interested, but for now, here she is in a group shot (the only pic I have at the moment):
