FS: 1997 Vox V847 wah modded by Mr. John Spina

This is a 1997 Vox V847 Made in the USA. It sounded fine before the mod but the sweep wasn't too wide and it was kinda bland. John made a new board to sound more like a vintage clyde. When I tried the Fulltone Clyde out, I liked this pedal more. They both had the tone but the sweep of this pedal is a little less insane (lol) and feels more vintage-y. I also felt it could be controlled easier.

There is volume adjustment on the board itself and a 10 way switch was added on the side of the pedal for gain adjustment. As you go up the options the wah gets grittier. I personally like the cleanest wah setting for overdrive and distortion and add gain as I use cleaner tones. It crunches up the midrange a bit and sounds really neat.

The pedal also now has true bypass, probably the main complaint in regards to vox wahs.

The only reason I am getting rid of this is because I have a couple other pedals I want right now and I have another wah on the way that probably fits my style more.

$125 shipped in the CONUS OBO.

In regards to trades, I would subtract $50 for a nice MXR Dist. III and/or $30 for a nice SD-1. I'm not really interested in anything else right now, thanks.
