FS: 2001 Hamer Standard Custom

Hello friends,

Up for sale (no trades) is a 2001 custom ordered Standard Custom. Here are the details:

-Greenish in color (sometimes tealish under certain lighting). Back is finished in beautiful natural mahogany.
-Chunky neck (vintage carve).
-Matching flame maple veneer headstock.
-Currently has a SD Distortion in the bridge. Potential buyer will have a choice of either SD Distortion or SD Custom. SD Alnico Pro II in the neck.
-All electronics are original and work perfectly.
-Some minor dings on the back and back edges. One ding, about 5/16" in diameter, was repaired by the store from where I bought the guitar. The clearcoat had lifted. Very nicely repaired.
-Guitar is easily 8.5 to 9 out of 10, condition-wise.
-OHSC in excellent condition.
-10 lbs on my electronic bathroom scale.
-$1750 USD (includes shipping and paypal fees in the US and Canada). If any European members are interested, we can work on the shipping fees.

The market is flooded with left testicles making them practically worthless. I have heard from a source that a good condition Right testicle holds some bargaining power. Trust me... Go with the "Right" one.

Although these offers are interesting (not!), I think that I would prefer conventional type payment.

It's a GORGEOUS Hamer Standard bro :bigthumb: 2 months ago I'd have been all over this. But I picked up a USA Dean ML Custom.


Have you tried the Hamer Fan Club Forums? should sell there right quick. Having owned a USA Standard and playing a couple others I'd say any forum bro who is interested but doesnt jump on this is letting a world class instrument slip through their fingers and making a BIG mistake.:blackeye:

i actually played a standard for the first time yesterday...pretty comfortable! not what i expected at all! it was one of those Korina Standard XTs...not to bad at all!

I have only played a handful of Hamer's and I have never been let down by one. I wish I was getting a bigger tax return and could justify dropping this kinda $$. I want it but my pocket book says :no1:
