I just bought a vintage sunburst '06 strat with the upgrades (bigger trem block, jumbo frets, shielded pickups) and I'm going to move it b/c I favor the humbuckin sound over singles. This guitar is 2 weeks old and still has hang tag on it, plastic and sticker on pickguard. It's vintage sunburst with a maple neck and is selling for $434 retail and on web sites. If you favor humbuckers put a humbucker in it. You might have already thought of that.

Not to be a skeptic, but why don't you take it back, get a refund and put that towards something you'd like?

Just from a buyer's perspective, I always balk at someone who sells a new, 2-week old guitar for less than what they paid for it, unless they're trying to make a quick buck.
