2007 Ibanez VBT700 V Blade Neck Thru DiMarzios New SKB Hardcase...$399.99 shipped in Continental USA (Paypal "Gift" Payment Req'd)
Picked this up recently because it was simply too good of a guitar to resist but my daughter's auto accident deductible and recent funeral trip expenses for a grandparent's passing need to be recouped. My loss...your gain.
Rarely do I find a guitar with which I am as impressed as I am with this Ibby. Great feature set, high quality build, 5 piece neck/neck thru, DiMarzio D-Activators, string through body, 24 nicely finished jumbo frets, Gibraltar Custom Bridge...a Hell of a lot of guitar for not a lot of money. Really an undervalued guitar and a bit rare as it was a "Lawsuit" Issue from Dean as they thought it too similar to their Dave Mustaine Signature Model so it was only made in 2007. You don't have to upgrade or change a thing on this guitar...it's already got everything you could want. Looks Badass and plays/sounds great too! Includes a BRAND NEW SKB Hardshell Case as well.
The Ibanez VBT700 or V-Blade guitar is a flying V guitar model, introduced in 2007 as part of the Ibanez X series. Originally, the design came from a custom v-shaped guitar that was made for Dragonforce guitarist Sam Totman. Despite some rumors this was not an official signature series but rather a "spin-off" of the original custom design. Totman did get his own signature series in 2008 based on the Iceman, the STM. The VBT700 was the only V-Blade model that was mass produced to the public and was only available in 2007. It has since been discontinued.
Features include a neck through body construction, rosewood fingerboard with sharktooth inlays, a hard-tail bridge with string-through body, and two DiMarzio humbucking pickups.
