Okay, I love this guitar, but I'm not playing much and have some others with more sentimental value. This is a 1992 Centaura made in the USA. What makes the 1992 ones special is that they are the only ones with a swamp ash body and a pau ferro fretboard. If you know anything about USA Hamers, especially the older ones, you know how sweet they play.
Mods/upgrades - I changed the JB out for a Custom and put a SSL-6 in the neck. The Schaller Floyd baseplate has some stripped intonation screw holes when I got it so I ordered a new baseplate from Schaller Germany, the new ones have hardened inserts for the threads, it also has a Goldo or ESP (don't recall ATM) trem stabilizer, I have them on all my Floyd guitars. It also has the Mike Learn/Floyd Upgrades PMS (pickup mounting system) for the bridge humbucker, very cool, bought it straight from Mike who lives down the road from me.
No HSC, but I will ship well packed and in a very nice Levy's gig bag, nice bag, not your cheap GC sale rack gig bag, this one has nice thick padding. Also, the trem cavity and truss rod covers aren't on in the pics, but I have them and will put them on before I ship.
The bad, well, not really bad, no chips through the clear coat, but does have some surface marks, some show up really well in the pics, but you really can't see them unless you look closely in person. Most could probably be buffed out if you are into that. *EDIT* there are some weird looking swirling things in the 2nd picture, they may be slight scratches in the clear coat, but they aren't visible like that, I'll have to look at it closer. Also, in the picture of the back of the body it looks like there is a lot of gouges in the belly cut area, there are some scratches in the clear coat, but they are small, nothing like it looks like in the picture, I really need to get a crappier camera ;-)
There is some fretwear, it's a 24 year old guitar that has been played, it still plays great and you don't notice them, but it has some small divots in the usual cowboy chord locations.
Anyway, *EDIT* Price Drop - $600 OBO shipped and PP'd with gig bag, PM me for payment info. I need to move this so it's going to the 'bay soon.
