The worst part is I really thought that was his screen name! In my defense I was running off 2 hours of sleep, too many Phish shows in my youth & not enough coffee this morning I guess???:smokin:

Re: FS, A Whole Bunch Of Puppies!!!

What can you tell me about the Fender Triplebucker?

What can you tell me about the Fender Triplebucker?

was wondering the same thing.. lol was hoping no one was interested in it.. i have no guitar to install it in atm but .....i have one of them projects that might be finished this decade or the next..

Re: FS, A Whole Bunch Of Puppies!!!

Umm, it's a 7 wire pickup, it's got three blades & I'm relatively sure you can you can choose what coils are on @ any given time if it's wired properly? When I took it out of my Marauder two of the wires were taped together, so I would think if you used a few toggles or a super switch it could be kinda cool? When the guitar was stock it had that, a P-90 in the neck, & a 5way? Switch pos. 1was the back two coils, basically a Hotrails kind of deal? Pos. 2 was all 3 coils, pos 3 was just the outside blade, pos 4 was 1 blade & the P-90, then 5 was just the P-90...

Fender sells them, I think they want like $80 for one? I like things simple so I took it out and replaced it & the switch with a TB-1 & a 3 way but while it was in there you could get some cool sounds from it? Like I said I'd imagine you can do all kinds of things with it if you know what wires do what? I didn't really pay too much attention while I was taking it out so your best bet would be to refer to Fenders specks? It's humbucker sized so you can install it into anything that's routed for one without any fuss but that's about the extent of my knowledge? I just put it up there thinking someone who likes to do odd wiring job's to their guitars might want to play around with it?

Re: FS, A Whole Bunch Of Puppies!!!

Price drop on the two full sized JB's, minus $10 on each of them, so $45 for the used black one & $60 foe the Zebra New Other!!!

Re: FS, A Whole Bunch Of Puppies!!!

I do like odd wiring jobs... If I really like the JB Jr in my bullet there's a chance I may buy the other one from you too. Should get to find out soon.

Re: FS, A Whole Bunch Of Puppies!!!

I think you'll like it? A lot of power in a small package & they are very articulate! This can be a good or bad thing, it's great because when you do something you hear it, but it can also be bad because if you f*** up it will definitely let you know!!! To be honest I actually like the jr better than the full sized version of the JB, @ least in a Stratocaster anyway???

Re: FS, A Whole Bunch Of Puppies!!!

I've had a Few JB Jr's before and it's been my go to pickup for strat bridge position in S/S/S pickguards. I've never had one on one of these bullets so we'll see how that goes here in a few when I get it installed.
