AMT Electronics SS-20 – 3 Channel Tube Guitar Preamp
Designed by the engineers from Omsk, Russia, SS series preamps became popular and high demanded by guitar players as in its motherland, as outside the country. Thanks to the stompbox compact size, so you won't need a big space in your pedalboard, or maybe you won't need a board at all?
Despite the small size AMT SS-20 contains great features as 3 Channels:
Clean;
Drive | Crunch that gives the variety of sound from the light crunch to the full overdrive, also can be increased by the "Gain Crunch" toggle above the Crunch Gain knob;
Drive | Lead that gives the real hi gain distortion.
Using AMT SS-20 with an overdrive pedal like tube screamer will make even more fun by delivering more crisp and sharpness to the sound.
Some guys told me that they even played black metal with this box.
Also there's no problem to use it with the bass. For me personally the Crunch channel was the best at this, accurately adding light overdrive, not to lose the lows of course.
And the great feature is the effects loop which is handy to use.

AMT Electronics SS-20 is sold as a complete set which includes the preamp itself, the power adaptor, the package with the papers. The tube was replaced by the new one not long ago. The pedal has minor wear such as shallow scratches, finish wear and glue remainings and these don't affect the pedal's performance ability.
