The guitar tone is surged with warmth when turned on. Very tube sounding with an added crunch to it. Leads and solos would shine through this. One of the reasons why I tried it is because someone says it is comparable to John Petrucci's tone and it does a great job of capturing the sound.

Are you sure that thing has a tube in it? Everything I've about that pedal is that it doesn't.

You're right, my mistake. This pedal using tube-emulating circuitry.
