Hey guys i've spent a while tweaking this and the pickup just isnt for me.

I'm the second owner i believe it has some scuff marks where it seems someones strings have caught it with whammy bar usage. Also a little bit of corrosion on the slug poles but these should clean up nicely if someone wishes.

Its F spaced
Open coiled
Full length of wire
No box

Sorry man this has sold already. I was just coming on to update this.

I'm kinda surprised you didn't like it, I like mine a lot. I listened to your clips on the BK forum, sounded pretty good to me, haha.

I think for myself it was more that I didn't like it in that particular guitar. I would have tried it in a different guitar but they're all absolutely perfect as they are so I saw no need to change them.

It's very chunky in the lows with a very aggressive upper mid peak (think v30) and quite aggressive highs. It's also pretty saturated and tight.

Re: FS: Bare Knuckle Painkiller Bridge

Yeah, it's chunky, but it's not tubby or boomy, the upper mids cover, there's a lot of it. If you don't like the JB or the DD because of that, you'll most likely hate the PK too. Lots of pick attack and presence, really clear, really tight, and really aggressive. It's a metal pickup fo sho.

I don't know how Judas Priest it is. Actually, probably not my first choice if I were going for a JP thing. They have a different attitude when it comes to naming pickups. They have more of an "inspired by, but not necessarily designed for" thing, I think.
