FS: Bogner Shiva head w. 2-12 cabinet

I'm posting these for a friend of mine, who's cleaning house in preparation for some new gear. All Mike's gear is really clean and mostly gets played in his basement; we've had some awesome gear shootouts at his house.

Check for other equipment, which I'll put up in individual posts.

First up is a Bogner Shiva head w. EL34s and reverb. Mike describes it as good condition, but I don't recall ever seeing a scratch on it. He has the matching Bogen oversized 2-12 cabinet with a pair of V30s. Cabinet is mint. If you have any questions, PM me and I'll pass them on.

I have half a mind to buy it just to have two of the same rigs to run in stereo.

i am literally thinking of selling my mark v/recto 2x12 to have two of these.. with such a wide array of tone available 4 "channels" of shiva would be sick.

That price is a steal! I would never let go of my Bogner Shiva, nevermind for $1350. You can't touch that and it's in impeccable shape to boot. The cabinet is fairly priced. This is the steal of the century. It's a non volume boost modded Shiva, which means it's an earlier one (which is what mine is... no complaints) and that means it's got a warmer voiced clean channel. The general consensus is that the earlier Shivas were voiced a bit sweeter than the revised ones (like the green chassis ones that have the additional circuitry).

Though it matters not... Mike is ready to fill you primo gear needs with his first-class service. I went out drinkin' and gear-gabbin' last Thursday. This is some nice gear - BUY IT!

Just want to give a shout out to Rich and Mike and GLJazz over at TGP and say :thanks: for the super smooth and hassle free transaction when buying the Shiva head. The head got here in Puerto Rico the next day using USPS Express (which is prob an option all should look into more often...cost is much less that UPS or Fedex for next day) w/o a hitch, packaging was first rate and the tone that the Shiva puts out gives me wood!!! I'm a very happy camper!!! Anyway, to anyone that might be considering a purchase from some of Mike's killer amp collection let me just say that he comes highly recommended!!!

I prob won't be doing much posting over here since I'm mostly over at TGP hanging out so maybe I'll chat w/you guys over there if you find yourself stopping by that particular neck of the woods. Take care! :yourock:

The thread above clearly shows that the Shiva in question was sold over three years ago.
